Macmillan Practice Online guide for students
Macmillan Practice Online is an online practice environment for learners of English. You can log in to complete resources from the online course that you or your school has chosen. Macmillan Practice Online is available with the option of teacher access so you can work with a teacher monitoring your progress. This is a short guide to getting started with Macmillan Practice Online.
Accessing your Macmillan Practice Online
Step 2 - Activate a code
To access your Macmillan Practice Online course for the first time you need to activate a code. Macmillan Practice Online codes start with the letters MPO and are followed by numbers, like this:

To activate your code, click on the blue ‘Activate a code’ button at the top right of the homepage.
Enter your code in the ‘Access code’ box and write the letters you see in the second box. Then click ‘Continue’.
Next, you need to set up your account. Enter your details, including an email address and password that you can use to log in when you want to go to your course again. You only need to choose an email address and password once. If you already have a Macmillan Practice Online account and would like to add a new course, please read the instructions at the bottom of this page.
When you are finished, click 'Continue'. Then click 'Confirm' to create your account.
Step 2 - Log in
You only have to activate your code once. When you have activated your code, you can log in by clicking on the green ‘Log in’ button at the top of the homepage.
Enter the email address and password you set up when you registered and click ‘Log in’.
Note: If you already have a Macmillan Practice Online account and you would like to add a new course, you can add it without registering new details. Log in to your account (see above). Then, click on 'ADD A COURSE' on the left of your screen.
Then enter your new code and click 'Add course' to add the course to your current Macmillan Practice Online account.
