MPO Record of Achievement

Designed to be compatible with the European Language Portfolio, the MPO record of achievement consists of two parts. The first part is the PDF markbook. Students completing MPO courses can download a PDF of their progress whenever they wish, and email a PDF of their marks to their teacher.

This PDF gives details of the course content, the exercises completed by the student, the number of attempts the student has made at each exercise and the final mark for each resource. The second part of MPO assessment is the record of achievement which provides students with the opportunity to reflect on their progress. Using the CEFR 'Can Do' statements alongside their Macmillan Practice Online course marks, students can complete a self-assessment form reflecting on their marks and assessing their level of ability in reading, listening, spoken interaction, spoken production and writing. They create a record of their achievement in each MPO course they complete, and can revise this electronically throughout their studies. The MPO record of achievement fits into the language biography section of their Portfolio.
